Iodine belongs to those vital microelements, without which the normal functioning of the human body is impossible. Depends on it the processes of growth, development and general tone, the full development of the sex glands, the formation of various brain functions responsible for the intellect, memory, and acuity of the sense organs. Biological significance of iodine is that it is the main structural component of the thyroid hormones: thyroxine and triiodothyronine. These hormones determine the finest regulation of all types of metabolism and irreproachably synchronous complex reactions to changes in the external and internal environment.

Iodine deficiency significantly affects the physiological and physical characteristics of students. Even a small deficit of iodine affects the potential of the emerging organs, which cannot but affect the viability and stability of the organism in the future.

The situation is especially acute in the senior adolescence, which is critical in the formation of human health. This period is characterized by processes of active growth, biological maturation of organs, intensive sexual differentiation, adaptation of the individual to new microsocial conditions. Estimating the dynamics of the incidence of adolescents aged 14-16 years, it should be noted that in the structure of health disorders, neurotic reactions are on the first place - 81.7%, on the second - dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system - 62.2% and menstrual dysfunction in girls -65 %, third place - endocrine pathology - 25% (diffuse enlargement of the thyroid gland-17.3%, obesity-6.1%), abnormality of the musculoskeletal system in 16.7% and pathology of vision - in 12.7%.

A new solution to the problem of iodine deficiency gives us the product "Jodis-Concentrate". It can be used in all age categories, dosage is adjusted depending on age, physical and mental load, time of year and health status.

Iodine does not accumulate in the body and does not cause negative consequences, as it is observed with iodine therapy with other iodine-containing drugs. The product is resistant to storage and heat treatment.

The use of "Jodis-Concentrate" in the diet of schoolchildren allows to maintain a high immune status, improve the processes of assimilation of nutrients, it is easier to adapt to the requirements of the school curriculum.

"Jodis-Concentrate" successfully solves a whole complex of problems caused by lack of iodine in the body, and is by far the most promising, affordable and safe product for the prevention of iodine deficiency.
